Kelsi attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She decided to become an acupuncturist because she enjoys learning and loves to help people. As an acupuncturist, she can learn new information daily and see her patients improving. Through relieving chronic pain and stress she believes acupuncture can improve patient’s lives. Kelsi decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she believes community acupuncture is a fantastic way for acupuncture to become accessible to more people. When asked what her favorite thing about the city of Chicago is, Kelsi says “It is difficult to decide what I love most about Chicago, but I would have to say the incredible skyline that sits so close to beautiful Lake Michigan.”
Anais attended the National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, IL). She decided to become an acupuncturist because she truly believes acupuncture has amazing benefits to the body and mind; therefore a great gateway to a better lifestyle. She decided to become part of the Modern Acupuncture team to be able to provide accessible acupuncture to patients in a comfortable soothing environment, and work with a team of professionals that believe in what acupuncture can offer. She is also looking forward to growing as an acupuncturist as well. When asked what she loves most about Chicago, Anais says “I love Chicago because it is a balance between city and nature. Therefore, it helps me keep in balance with myself. Whenever I feel too stressed about the city life, I could always go on a getaway trip to restore myself in nature by camping, going on hikes or cycling through the lake front or suburbs. This is always a reminder of how important it is to self-care and for self-restoration.”
