Maria is a graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Maria decided to become an acupuncturist after working as a massage therapist inside an acupuncture clinic. She saw that patients were getting excellent results after only a few acupuncture treatments. Maria is also an AOBTA® Certified Practitioner, you can find her on AOBTA®’s “Find a Practitioner” website.
Her favorite part of being and acupuncturist is helping patients recover from physical traumas or difficult medical conditions. She also loves helping them improve their overall wellness. Maria chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she heard great things and wanted to learn more about how acupuncture is practiced in this setting. She had been on her own in practice since 2004 and wanted to be part of this company. When she isn’t working, Maria enjoys hiking, jogging and taking walks.

I am sitting here without major pain for the first time in weeks, almost in tears. I got home from my appointment and slept without being woken up by muscle spasms. I am so glad I took the plunge and tried acupuncture for the first time (based on a friend's recommendation who knew about my chronic muscle spasms and back pain), as nothing else was really working for me. I just moved into the Fort Worth area and feel grateful this location is so close to my home. The entire experience from beginning to end - staff, treatment, environment - was fantastic, can't say enough good things about the staff and the experience. I was taken care of from beginning to end - I wasn't expecting that. I am very glad I signed up for the membership and am planning on making acupuncture a permanent part of my life, and will be going back to this location as long as I am in the local area. Also, the tea is just wonderful, not sure if they serve the same brand at each location, but if there's any opportunity to purchase it on my own or through your web site, I would definitely do so. Thanks so much again for providing this opportunity, I feel so fortunate this is available and that I'm finally out of pain - and have a plan to stay out of pain.
Modern Acupuncture has changed my life. After being in pain from tigger points in my muscles for 11 years and tried everything to help this pain I’m finally pain free I go 3 x a week and will go less as time goes by. If your in pain I recommend this 100%
