Maria is a graduate of AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. Maria decided to become an acupuncturist after working as a massage therapist inside an acupuncture clinic. She saw that patients were getting excellent results after only a few acupuncture treatments. Maria is also an AOBTA® Certified Practitioner, you can find her on AOBTA®’s “Find a Practitioner” website.
Her favorite part of being and acupuncturist is helping patients recover from physical traumas or difficult medical conditions. She also loves helping them improve their overall wellness. Maria chose to be part of the Modern Acupuncture team because she heard great things and wanted to learn more about how acupuncture is practiced in this setting. She had been on her own in practice since 2004 and wanted to be part of this company. When she isn’t working, Maria enjoys hiking, jogging and taking walks.

I discovered acupuncture with Maria and it is amazing. There is a professional and relaxing atmosphere in this place and Maria and gives you a personalized treatment plan whether it's for injuries, chronic pains, stress or anxiety. I give it my highest recommendation!
Thank you guys for an amazing first experience with acupuncture. I was a couple of weeks removed from Covid and having difficulty regaining my strength and energy. After my treatment the brain fog cleared up and the next day my energy was high. I felt great! Looking forward to my next visit.
I have been struggling with a sore shoulder for 6-7 weeks and tried acupuncture and it feels much better! The facility was very modern and clean. I am very surprised about my shoulder I have had serious pain and about instantly after the appointment I noticed relief in the pain during trial stretches after the appointment.
Absolutely love Modern Acupuncture! I have chronic Lyme disease and have noticed a significant difference in my energy levels since starting about a month ago. I also go for TMJ and it's the only thing I've ever tried that's made any difference in my jaw clenching and headaches. Plus the 30 mins you're in there, in the most comfortable chairs with heat and massage and the zen music and nature scenes on the TV is the best part! It's like the most amazing meditation session you've ever had. I look forward to my acupuncture appointments every week!
I am in so much joy and comfort. I have scoliosis. I was getting desperate and in so much pain, tried everything to minimize the pain and discomfort in my lower back. I even believed this is how my life was going to be from now on.. until a couple of months I tried modern acupuncture. And I will be honest, at first I did not feel any difference, but after a few sessions I was getting better to walk and sit, something that I was not able to do for the last two years. I have two months now attending and let me tell you, I can almost do everything again. In Jin, the acupuncturist, is a wonderful and helpful lady that knows what she is doing. She is very attentive and kind. She remembers specific details about me and asks me the next time she sees me how I am doing. She is the reason why I keep coming back. She really knows acupuncture and how to help you with your pain. If you come to this place, be sure to set up an appointment with her. She is amazing! I definitely recommend her.
