She recently re-joined the team in Murfreesboro in 2023 and has been excited to meet new patients and treat long-term members alike. She likes to swim, hike, bike, paint watercolor, crochet, and listen to her kids play music in and around Nashville.
Rachelle is a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncturist and Herbalist, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida College of Integrative Medicine in 2009. Practicing Eastern Medicine for over almost 15 years, she’s traveled the world advancing her knowledge in alternative and complementary healthcare modalities to offer more effective treatments for modern disorders.
While the focus of her practice has largely been in fertility and reproductive health, she believes that the same principles of balance and sustainability applied throughout the stages of family planning can also be applied to the stages of building (or rebuilding) physical and mental health.
In June of 2022, her and her husband, Adam, took over ownership of the Modern Acupuncture Cool Springs location in Brentwood, TN and less than a year later became co-owners of Modern Acupuncture’s sister clinic in Murfreesboro. Their aim is to make traditional medicine easy to understand and integrated into everyday health and wellness. She still actively treats patients, offering cupping and guasha, in addition to current acupuncture services in Brentwood.

The room for the acupuncture treatment was an unexpected beautiful surprise! To be able to relax watching beautiful imagery on a large screen with soothing music, enhanced the experience of my time spent there. It felt like an oasis. Acupuncture is the only natural way I have found to relieve migraine headaches. Acupuncture is a profound way to improve the electrical circuitry of the body enable the body to heal itself. I recommend it highly! It is safe and painless. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.
I can't say enough about Modern Acupuncture and this particular location. I'm from out of state and, while working in Franklin in 2021, reactivated an old neck injury. I was in so much pain and though I was unsure and a bit nervious about acupuncture, I was willing to try anything that might help. I left the office in awe, much better educated about the practice, and nearly floating because I felt so much relief. That relief lasted fully 8-10 days and then residual soreness returned, as I normally experience. It has been over a year but as soon as I came into town for another job I made an appointment right away and had another fantastic experience. I purchased a package and intend to go as often as I can while in the area because they take such good care of me. I strongly recommend giving it a try!
I had my baby on Sunday evening, the 27th of June! She was born at 10:48pm. I was scheduled to be induced the next morning at 8am, so that was a huge answer to prayer for our home birth! I really think the acupuncture and homeopathic remedies you suggested helped immensely. My labor was 1.5hrs, and I was dilated to 6 before labor even started. The midwife tried to break my water and couldn’t, but her trying put me into immediate labor! It was wild to say the least, ha! I’m definitely looking forward to my next session!☺ï¸
Adam at reception was lovely (as well as Sam) I was running late for an appointment with a friend and Adam accommodated us so well. He told me to drive safe when I was speeding to get there on time (ps if you live in franklin it's 20 mins away NOT 12 lol) I wish I would have asked more questions of my provider. The first time I had acupuncture was in the summer and it was cold out during my service here. I didn’t consider wearing shorts and a tank top like my first time 😬🙃 wish I would have removed my headband or shirt (I had a tank on) to experience the full benefits (I'm also a novice). Environment was great but ask your provider questions. They may not be experienced enough on asking potential uncomfortable questions (removing headband or a shirt).
Considering this was my first "community experience" with acupuncture, I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk person was knowledgeable, and the treatment specialist was kind. Also, the environment was clean and there were tons of Covid precautions in place. I'd say it's worth a try if you are on the fence.
